Hey, I’m Krystin — the photographer behind KR Endurance Media.
I’ve been a gravel cyclist for years, which means I’m no stranger to long days, questionable weather, and the kind of Type‑2 fun that makes endurance sports what they are. Photography came later — a COVID‑era excuse to spend even more time outside. I started with landscapes, chasing light and quiet moments, and eventually found myself volunteering at a friend’s race.
That first event hooked me.
I realized I loved the challenge of capturing an entire story in a single frame — the grit, the nerves, the mid‑race chaos, the finish‑line relief, and all the quirky, human moments in between. Shooting endurance events feels like home: it’s fast, unpredictable, and full of people doing hard things for the joy of it.
I’m completely self‑taught, fueled by curiosity, caffeine, and a stubborn streak that refuses to miss the shot. My style leans documentary with a touch of irreverence — clean, honest images that feel alive and never take themselves too seriously.
When I’m not photographing races, you’ll find me riding gravel, wandering with my camera, or pointing my lens at wildlife just because it makes me happy.
If you’re looking for someone who knows the sport, loves the community, and can keep up with the action, I’m your photographer.
